An excellent job opportunity has arisen for a Senior Business Analyst to join a highly established and renowned organisation in Newport on a permanent basis.

The organisation is embarking on an ambitious programme of business change, with a view to create end-to-end digital services, replacing multiple bespoke applications with modern enterprise class systems. They are adopting a cloud first approach, which will transform the way in which they deliver their services to the business.

Your new role

The Business Analyst will work alongside the business and IT to deliver outcomes to enable successful delivery of change initiatives. You will liaise with a range of key stakeholders, analyse existing and future ways of working, identifying options and assessing their impact. You will be responsible for modelling processes, eliciting, and documenting requirements and working across all areas of projects and service lifecycle. You will join an established and growing team of Business Analysts, working across all areas of projects and service lifecycle as part of a multidisciplinary team.

What you’ll need to succeed

The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate:

Proven experience of working as a Business Analyst

Strong knowledge of Business Analysis principles and techniques

Experience of selecting and utilising suitable Business Analysis tools and techniques

Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills

Knowledge of both Waterfall and Agile methodologies would be an advantage

If you hold a BCS International Diploma in Business Analysis this would be an advantage

This position will initially be based remotely, before returning to a hybrid working set-up from Newport.
